Northern Leadership Academy (NLA)

The Northern Leadership Academy (NLA) was founded in 2006 with the aim of developing entrepreneurial growth in North of England through increasing leadership talent. The objective is to develop more and better leaders and more productive entrepreneurs, by providing new opportunities for leadership development for existing leaders and those with leadership potential in business, the public sector and within communities.

Business Link North West

Business Link is an easy to use business support, advice and information service funded by government and managed in the North West by the Northwest Regional Development Agency. Business Link North West is dedicated to help business develop and progress by ensuring quick and easy access to advice, information and skills needed to succeed from the broadest range of private, public and voluntary business support services.

Train to Gain

The Learning and Skills Council’s Train to Gain service provides impartial, independent advice on training to businesses across England. It can help businesses improve their productivity and competitiveness by ensuring that employees have the right skills to do the best job. Train to Gain gives you access to a Skills Broker who will carry out a needs analysis of training within your business and help you assess what skills your business has now and what you will need in the future.

North of England Excellence : Are you seriously committed to Excellence ?

If so, North of England Excellence can help you pursue continuous improvement. Set up in 1994, North of England Excellence is a not-for-profit, membership organisation working within the region to support its members in their pursuit of Excellence. It delivers this support in a variety of ways, such as breakfast seminars, networking events, training workshops and consultancy. North of England Excellence is also the name behind the prestigious North West Business Excellence Awards and is the regional licensing and authorising body for the new Investors in Excellence national standard.
